English As A Second Language

English As A Second Language (ESL)

In ESL classes, students learn to understand, speak, read, and write in English for many reasons: to get a job, get a better job, go to school, become citizens, help their children in school, or live more successfully in the United States. Class lessons are based on students’ needs and interests.

Students register for class in person at either office and are given an assessment to determine proper placement. Open enrollment is available on a "space available" basis.
